2. Eligibility Criteria
- Individual micro food processing enterprises, FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations), SHGs (Self-Help Groups), and cooperatives are eligible.
- Must be an existing micro-enterprise involved in food processing.
- Priority is given to enterprises engaged in One District One Product (ODOP) processing.
- The enterprise must comply with FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) regulations and must be registered.
- The applicant must contribute at least 10% of the total project cost.
3. Subsidies & Financial Assistance
- Credit-Linked Capital Subsidy: 35% of the eligible project cost, up to a maximum of ₹10 lakh per unit.
- Seed Capital: ₹40,000 per SHG member for working capital and purchase of tools.
- Interest Subvention: SHGs engaged in food processing can avail interest subvention of 2% on loans.
- Training & Skill Development: Technical upskilling, branding, and marketing support are provided.
